How we handle your data
In short: this website does not build a profile of you. It uses no tracking services, no analytics tools and no user accounts. A single, technically necessary cookie protects the contact form against misuse; it is deleted as soon as you close your browser. The only thing you can send us is an enquiry through the form — and that reaches us as an email, not as an entry in a database.

The contact form
When you write to us through the form, you send us your name, your email address, your telephone number if you wish, and your message. These details are used solely to answer your enquiry. The website itself does not store them — they are forwarded to us as an email and treated there like confidential post.
On delivery: hallo@carejourney.ch is 's own mailbox, not a forwarding address to third parties. It is operated by Infomaniak Network SA in Geneva; under their terms of use, the data is held exclusively in Swiss data centres owned by Infomaniak itself.
Please do not describe any medical details in your first enquiry — an unencrypted email is not the place for them. On certain clear warning words such as ‘emergency’, the form stops and tells you the right number to call. Please do not rely on this: it is a help, not a filter, and it does not recognise an emergency reliably. If there is danger, call 144, not us.
What this website does not do
- No tracking services, no advertising cookies, no analysis of your behaviour
- No cookie banner — because there is nothing to consent to apart from the one cookie that protects the form
- No database — enquiries are not stored on the web server
- No passing of your details to third parties
- No embedding of external services, fonts or scripts
What stays on your device
Your browser remembers six settings locally so the website looks the way you left it on your next visit: whether you switched on calm mode, whether you chose day or night mode, how large you set the type, whether you switched on Large Type or High Contrast on the accessibility page — and whether you have been here before. The last one is a bare yes, with no timestamp and no counting; it makes the website start light on the very first visit and follow the time of day only after that. All of it stays on your device, is never transmitted to us, and can be deleted at any time with your browser data.
Server logs
When you visit the website, the web server necessarily processes connection data such as the IP address. These logs serve solely to keep the site running securely and are neither linked to you as a person nor analysed.
Where this website is hosted
This website is hosted on a server in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Website, log and backup data are stored there. The Netherlands is part of the EEA and has a level of data protection recognised by the Swiss Federal Council. The server is operated by Namecheap, Inc., a company based in the USA — where the data sits and where the provider is based are two different things, and we name both. Your message via the contact form is not stored on that server; it is delivered to our mailbox in Geneva. We say this here because you should know it — not because it goes without saying.
Your rights
You may ask at any time what data we hold about you, and request that it be corrected or deleted. Simply write to us — no particular form is needed; the contact details are above.
