The seven animals

Seven figures, all seven names decided by Iris. They are not built yet. This is the first time they stand together — with what has been decided about them, and without what is still open.

    She speaks Bernese German, gently: natural Bernese hints, never a performance.

    the golden eagle

    The bird of the mountains and the long view. What she will do is not yet decided.

    He is already here — in the band at the foot of this page, beside the tree of life.

    Named after the Aare. He shapes water systems instead of merely living in them, and makes room for many others.

    Alma's friend. A bird who came from far away and made this his home.

    The seventh animal — and the only one that shines. Her light is real cold fire, almost without heat.
